MOTEL SUN INN

High rating for comfort / price. Motel was less than $50. My room was clean and had no odor, I a very sensitive to old smoke, heavy deodorant and mildew. Room , linens and lobby.. no odor! Room had fridge, ironing board, iron , hair dryer, large LCD TV, hairdryer, microwave but no clock. I don't miss a clock. I use my cell phone. Waking up to an alarm the previous occupant set can wean you of hotel clocks. I liked I could plug my charger in at bedside without having to be a tunnel rat. The bathroom lights seem to be on an occupancy switch, so if you fall asleep in the tub you may wake up in the dark. A polite way to describe the free breakfast is, "It was extremely limited". The area has numerous independent motels, rather than take chances I plan to stay at Sun Inn Motel my next trip.

A unique, older motel with a lot of charm. We enjoyed our stay here. Employees were friendly & the motel was very clean. Our TV was pretty small & it was difficult to see the image clearly. We also had an ottoman in our room that was very worn & ripped up. However, it’s a budget hotel & everything was great besides those two things. Overall, we had a good stay at a great price & would return next time we are in the area.

A dark, weird, quaint little place, but we loved it! The room was good sized, a bit dark and dreary. The check in was adorable. You dial zero and they come out and fill out a paper reservation. The price was decent, the room had a fridge and microwave. Seems like the type of place people live at. I bet it was a gorgeous place back in the day! Well lit outside, nice and quiet inside. We felt safe and comfortable.

Nice place. They need a fancier sign. The bathroom in my room was really nice and clean. Good water flow for shower. They should make better use of outdoor space by having outdoor seating for guests. My room deposit was returned promptly after checkout too, which was nice .

Great stay it’s old and gives you the Baits Motel feel when you first see it but the service was great and room was very clean cleaner than the Comfort Inn I stayed the night before. The beds comfortable the only thing that bothered me was the Ac kept cutting off and you can’t change the setting luckily it wasn’t hot so the room stayed cool

Room was clean and quiet and the location is very convenient being close to the lake. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Stayed for a few weeks and have 0 complaints. Would go again.

One of the only choices at a reasonable price. This is a mom and pop motel. The building is dated, probably 60 years old, but the rooms have been mostly updated. Room was clean (primary concern), and I'm picky about that. If you're looking for a modern hotel, this isn't for you. If you want clean and comfortable, served by a really nice and friendly couple, this is perfect. We had a good stay on our way north.

friendly, helpful and efficient staff. simple but clean rooms. good location for beaches. Excellent value for money. Recommended! Well done, I will miss you!
